Monica Arnold is back on top of the R&B chart (“can you get to THAT my love?”) with her Missy-Elliott-produced-a-copy-of-Silly tune. It is her 6th #1 rhythm and blues song, and her first in seven years.

At first, I did not like the song, as I prefer the original background music with the original song (Silly by Deniece Williams from 1981). However, after a few more listens, the lyrics have made me enjoy the soulful song.

Best line: “…always come first and, second, to none…”
